Ocean Row completed!!! Stuart arrived in English harbour, Antigua at 16:45 UTC on Sat 27th March after an epic 82 days at sea, including 9 days of solo rowing effort after Rob left the boat on 16th March with 320 nm remaining. Thanks to everyone for all your kind words of encouagement throughout!!!

On behalf of Stuart Burbridge, Rob Casserley, Marie Curie Cancer Care and all involved, welcome to Ocean 2 Summit. Thank you for coming to the site and please take some time to look around at the challenge we have set for ourselves and the great work that Marie Curie Cancer Care carry out. Your time and donations are greatly appreciated and if you have any comments for us; praise, constructive advice or just good wishes, you can place these in our guestbook! 

The Dream: To raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care, whilst pitting ourselves against some of the greatest mental and physical challenges on earth.

Challenge 1: We will set off rowing from La Gomera in Gran Canaria on the 6th of December 2009. We will face 2700 miles of open water and all that mother nature and one or two sharks, whales and container ships can throw at us. Our shedule will involve a rotation system of alternating 2 hour rowing shifts. In our alternating 2 hours of down time we will eat our rehydrated Army style ration packs and hopefully catch up on some sleep. Approximately 2 months later we will hopefully arrive in English Harbour, Antigua, where our slightly leaner and broken bodies will be met by friends and family.

 Challenge 2: In the Spring of 2010 we are aiming to Summit Mt Everest, Rob for his 6th time and Stuart for his 1st. This somewhat depends on surviving challenge 1!...
